The Philippine Pro Gaming League 2019 is Back for Season 3
MANILA, Philippines, October 14, 2019 — The Philippine Pro Gaming League 2019 is back for its third and final season of the year, featuring five of the country’s hottest esports titles—League of Legends, Rules of Survival, Tekken 7, Arena of Valor and a bigger Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament open for all Filipino gamers.
Thanks to MET Events, the largest esports events organizer in Asia, and Globe Telecom, the country’s biggest multi-title esports league has played a significant role in the development of the country’s esports scene over the year. It has brought over more than a thousand Filipino gamers closer to their esports dreams. And with the league’s upcoming third season, the number is only bound to get bigger.
Aspiring Filipino esports athletes and professionals alike are invited to join and register for the third season of the PPGL 2019 starting on October 14, 2019. Two online qualifiers will be hosted for League of Legends, Rules of Survival, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The Tekken 7 qualifiers, on the other hand, will be hosted live in three major cities of the country—Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, and Manila—made possible by Playbook Esports. And finally, a one-time, big-time online qualifier for Arena of Valor which will be held on November 24.

Barring the Rules of Survival finals, which will be held online, teams and players who will emerge from their title’s respective qualifiers and group stages will gather for a culmination on December 20-22, 2019.
The League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Rules of Survival legs will be broadcasted live on the official PPGL Facebook page. Meanwhile, The Tekken 7 leg will be broadcasted on the Playbook Facebook page.
