The Globe PPGL 2018 Season 3 Tekken 7 Tournament Information
A. Tournament Format
The Philippine Pro Gaming League (PPGL) Tekken 7 will be comprised of 9 events:
4 Qualifiers
2 Players per qualifier will advance to the Grand Finals
Grand Finals
The top 2 of the 4 Qualifiers will compete in the Grand Finals
B. Schedule
Qualifiers:
Iloilo – June 23, Venue: Hi-Gear
Cebu – October 6, Venue: First 5 Sports Lounge and Cafe
Cagayan de Oro – October 20, Venue: Captain Poi’s Gamehouse
Manila 1 – November 10, Venue: PlayBook Circuit
Manila 2 – November 11, Venue: PlayBook Circuit
C. Registration
Registration is FREE.
Participants can register on site between 10am-12pm on the day of the event.
Participants can also register online but need to confirm their registration
onsite before 12pm.

D. Rules
D1. Qualifiers
Qualifiers will run on a double elimination format.
All matches will be best of three (first to 2) except for the Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals.
No character lock.
Stages should be RANDOM.
Only the player who lost the previous match can change his character. The winner needs to stick to his character.
Players are not allowed to pause the game during an official match. A player who pauses the match forfeits the round.
D2. Grand Finals
Grand Finals will run on a double elimination format.
All matches will be best of five (first to 3)
No character lock.
Stages should be RANDOM.

E. Game Settings
Time limit is 60 seconds per round.
Number of rounds to win a match is 3.
F. Regulations
Players who are not in the tournament area at the time of their match may forfeit the match. A five minute grace period will be given to players who are not present when called.
Players are encouraged to use their own controller/fightstick.
Players are not allowed to register a “gamer tag” with inappropriate/vulgar content. Offense might lead to disqualification.
Players who use DS4 controllers are required to disconnect their controllers from the PS4 unit to avoid accidental match interruption. Players who cause such interruption will either be given a warning (1st offense) or be disqualified (2nd offense).
The tournament organizers have the right to change or modify the rules as they see fit.
