Thunder Esports Tour

The Thunder Esports Tour is a nationwide esports tournament for all aspiring Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang players in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao with a total prize pool of PHP 1,000,000. Local champions will be crowned in front of live audiences to establish them as the best in front of their own home communities.

TOURNAMENT ROADMAP

• The top four teams from the Dota 2 qualifiers and the top two teams from the CS:GO qualifiers will advance to the mall finals—SM Seaside for Cebu, SM City San Fernando for Pampanga, and SM CDO Uptown for Cagayan de Oro.
• The Mobile Legends qualifier will be held on the first day of each city’s mall finals.
• The winners of the mall finals per game will be gathered at SM North Edsa from August 31 to September 1 for the grand culmination. 

The dates are as follows:

Cebu

• Dota 2 Qualifiers: June 22
• CS:GO Qualifiers: June 23
• Mall Finals (SM Seaside Cebu): August 3-4
• Mobile Legends Qualifiers: August 3

Pampanga

• Dota 2 Qualifiers: June 29
• CS:GO Qualifiers: June 30
• Mall Finals (SM San Fernando Pampanga): July 20-21
• Mobile Legends Qualifiers: July 20

Cagayan de Oro

• Dota 2 Qualifiers: June 29
• CS:GO Qualifiers: June 30
• Mall Finals (SM CDO Uptown): July 6-7
• Mobile Legends Qualifiers: July 6

PRIZE POOL

The Thunder Esports Tour’s massive PHP 1,000,000 prize pool is broken down as follows:

Local Finals (PHP 30,000 per leg)

Dota 2:

1. Champion: PHP 5,000
2. 2nd Place: PHP 2,500
3. 3rd/4th Place: PHP 1,250 each

CS:GO:

1. Champion: PHP 6,500
2. 2nd Place: PHP 3,500

Mobile Legends:

1. Champion: PHP 5,000
2. 2nd Place: PHP 2,500
3. 3rd/4th Place: PHP 1,250 each

Grand Finals (PHP 910,000)

Dota 2:

1. Champion: PHP 210,000
2. 2nd Place: PHP 120,000
3. 3rd/4th Place: PHP 60,000

CS:GO:

1. Champion: PHP 100,000
2. 2nd Place: PHP 50,000
3. 3rd/4th Place: PHP 25,000 each

Mobile Legends:

1. Champion: PHP 130,000
2. 2nd Place: PHP 70,000
3. 3rd/4th Place: PHP 30,000 each
