ROG Masters 2017 APAC Finals

After successfully finishing the ROG Masters 2016 tournament the year prior, this year we delivered an even bigger tournament in the ROG Masters 2017 APAC Finals.

The tournament was the Asia-Pacific leg of this year’s larger, now worldwide ROG Masters season, and we held it at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, Metro Manila. The expanded tournament saw eight top Asia-Pacific teams from Dota 2 and from CS:GO duking it out for a slot in the world finals.

We are also proud to say that it was the successful international debut of our partner MineskiTV’s Aldrin “Dunoo” Pangan, Justin ‘Vill” Villaseran, and Jiro “Nomad” Pineda as part of the cast of ineternational hosts and commentators.

We successfully delivered on presenting the ROG Masters 2017 to a local audience that delighted in being a part of the Asia-Pacific leg of the global tournament. Dota 2’s WarriorsGaming.Unity’s eventual first place over favorites TNC Pro Team and Execration, and CS:GO’s 5Power Club’s epic win over Mineski-CS:GO and Grayhound Gaming both stand as testaments to the high quality of competition in the region.

The tournament champions will move on to the ROG Masters world finals in December, 2017.
