CrossFire Stars Invitational: Manila

Four of the best CrossFire teams from around the world were invited to Manila to duke it out in a weekend of intense competition at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, Philippines.

The Invitational featured only the crème de la crème teams of the esport, some of them flying from across the world to participate: Vietnam’s Boss.CFVN, China’s All Gamers, Brazil’s Remo Brave, and the Philippines’ own Pacific Macta.

From an exciting group stage on Saturday to the high-stakes playoffs on Sunday, attendees were exhilarated by the top-tier competition. Even the Filipino fans continued to cheer for the representatives from Vietnam, Brazil, and China after their hometown heroes in Pacific Macta were eliminated early in the playoffs. Love of the game and the sheer quality of gameplay exhibited by the best players in the world turned the tournament into a true community gathering.

When the players of Remo Brave finally lifted the first-ever CrossFire Stars Invitational trophy after fighting their way up from the very bottom of the brackets, they were met with applause by an impressed and wholly-engaged audience.

It was an exciting tournament, a successful event for us, and a weekend to remember for everyone involved.
