MET Events, the biggest esports organisers in Asia, is pleased to announce its partnership with PUBG Corporation to host the last PUBG Classic event of the season, MET Asia Series. The tournament is taking place on July 26-28 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), deep within the heart of Thailand, Bangkok.
General admission to the event is free of charge and fans will have the opportunity to obtain their tickets on met-asiaseries.com starting from 23rd June at 10am Thailand time.
The best 16 PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) teams from Asia will compete over three days to be crowned as the continent’s best team and receive a lion’s share of the $300,000 USD prize.
The spots will be filled with the best teams from each of the pro PUBG esports regions in Asia, including: China (5), Korea (4), Southeast Asia (3), Japan (2), Chinese Taipei/Hong Kong & Macau (2). The winning region will be crowned with an additional region slot for the 2019 PUBG Global Championship.
